Hailing from Milan, Italy, Lu ventured into the world of professional tennis, competing across 16 countries in Europe, Asia, and the USA.
However, a car accident halted her tennis career, leading her to Australia, where she transitioned into coaching tennis. It was during this time that she discovered pickleball, a sport she's been playing passionately for the past 2.5 years.
In 2023 Lu won the Italian Championship, and dominated the Major Pickleball League Australia season, and was a multiple gold medallist at the state titles.
